The first webinar of the series, that took place on 24 October 2022, was devoted to how to prepare a dossier for Energy Planning. In this session, the audience had the chance to learn about best practices and recommendations for exploitation, as three NESOI projects were presented.
Our partner RINA brought NESOI to the European Sustainable Energy Week 2023 Networking Village. The project shared the stand with the initiative "Multi Utilities Smart Energy Grids" (MUSE GRIDS), an EU-funded project that aims to demonstrate the feasibility of technological and non-technological solutions targeting the interaction of local energy grids.
Wind Turbine Repowering in Kythnos, Greece (WIRE-K) is a project supported by NESOI European Islands managed by our partners from CERTH and promoted by the Public Power Corporation Renewables SMSA (PPCR).

Global Renovation of Public Lighting in Corsica (France) (GRENPLIGHTC) is a project supported by NESOI European Islands Facility managed by our partners from R2M Solution and promoted by the “Agence d’Aménagement durable, d’Urbanisme et d’Energie de la Corse (AUE in French).
What is GRENPLIGHTC about?
In the coming months,the team in NESOI will offer a series of short webinars involving experts in the field. This activity will be complementary to the e-learning modules that are expected to be also made available in the last months of 2022. The most mature projects will support the elaboration of the learning material by providing valuable input from their experiences to help less developped projects.
