The recording of the NESOI Plus webinar dedicated to energy communities in the Canary Islands is now available to watch on YouTube.
Held on 14 May 2026, the session brought together municipalities, cooperatives and citizen-led initiatives to present the first NESOI Plus Open Call and the opportunities it offers to support the development of local energy community projects. The webinar provided participants with a clear overview of the application process, eligibility criteria and the type of free technical assistance available to help projects move towards investment readiness.
In addition to introducing the NESOI Plus framework, the session featured valuable insights from regional stakeholders and practitioners, showcasing concrete experiences from Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Palma.
