NESOI European Islands Facility has been one of the Supporters in this year’s edition of the 8th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium.

In this year edition, our project coordinator from Andrea Martinez (SINLOC), togheter with Gianni Chianetta (Greening the Islands Foundation), Kostas Komninos (DAFNI network), and Konstantinos Komninos (Public Power Corporation), held a very interesting panel titled  “Reimagining Energy Landscapes: Unlocking the Potential of Greek and EU Islands in the Energy Transition”, powered by the NESOI Facility. 

The European Islands Facility NESOI aims to unlock the potential of EU islands to become the locomotives of European Energy Transition by providing islands with training, technical support, cooperation and robust funding opportunities to facilitate their energy transition process. NESOI Facilitating web-platform is the most visible and important tool of the facility as it offers the means to local operators to develop their own projects. It enables communication and interaction with wide range of relevant stakeholders such as citizens, experts, investors, institutions, project promoters, tech providers.
