WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?
- The project promotes local circular economy in Lemnos by the valorization of biowaste for biogas production. A biogas production facility including an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) unit and a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit will be designed and possibly be governed by an Energy Community.
- The feedstock will be biowaste derived from agrofood activities (oil mill liquid residues, cheese whey, winery residues) and municipal biowaste (such as urban sludge).
