On October 25th, NESOI attended the 2023 edition of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place that took place in Brussels. This event, jointly organised by the European Commission’s Directorates-Generals for Energy (ENER) and Climate Action (CLIMA) and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) in collaboration with the Covenant of Mayors. It has been a very interesting opportunity to network and exchange good practices with financial institutions, exponents from cities and industries, experts from energy sector, and, of course, to promote our NESOI platform!

In addition to projects showcasing their initiatives, the conference featured plenary sessions featuring keynote speakers from  the European Commission, cities, and private sector. The major objective is to promote local transformation, including sustainable plans and strategies for the energy transition, funding energy efficiency in the public and private sectors, and increasing home improvement investments.
