Greening the Islands Convention 2021 is an International Conference and Exhibition that developed online in its 8th edition, and ran from 19-21 October. This is an event focused on the integration of technology, policy and finance in a unique platform where islands, industry associations, academia, corporate institutions and civil society can promote their stories and attend workshops, training sessions and other sessions on national, regional and international tenders and calls for innovation.

EU Islands Facility NESOI will had its own virtual booth with the title: "Unlocking the potential of EU islands to become pioneers of European Energy Transition" where our work in different island regions was showed, that is, the progression on the sustainable transition projects that is being made in the successful beneficiaries from our first call. The virtual visitors also had the opportunity to ask questions to the team that was present and, needless to say, the second call was promoted.
