SoFIA - Setup of First citizens' energy community in the Canary Islands

The project consists in elaborating a feasibility study to establish energy communities around PV assets in the city of Adeje.
For collective self-consumption, community members will be given a monetary benefit (reduction of the network fee).
Over the course of the study, various ways to increase the level of self-consumption will be assessed: electrification of water heating and cooking solutions, possibly e-mobility.
Generation technologies other than PV will also be studied.
