Last week, NESOI attended the Virtual Islands Summit 2023, a unique opportunity to listen and get in contact with experts from around the world. For 5 days, attendees had the possibility to share ideas, good practices and solutions for sustainable development on islands. This event brought together a vast diversity of voices, experiences, knowledge and cultures to address the specific challenges and opportunities facing islands around the globe. 

NESOI, the European Islands Facility, also contributes to the sustainable development on the islands. In fact, Nesoi aims to facilitate the clean energy transition on EU islands and go one step forward by providing islands with training, technical support, cooperation opportunities and robust funding opportunities also through its new Platform.
