WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?

The activities to be carried out by IBH to succeed with establishing BornholmsHavvind as a 100-MW coastal wind farm at Rønnebakke are:

  • Carrying out a techno-economic-environmental feasibility
  • Conducting a public hearing with Bornholm stakeholders and authorities
  • Forming BH ownership organisation and raising investor capital from Bornholm citizens, companies and other local stakeholders for pre-investigations
  • Preparing the application to the Danish Energy Agency of permission for carrying out IEA

HOW WILL THE EU ISLANDS FACILICY NESOI SUPPORT THE PROJECT?

  • Screening of different areas for the establishment of wind park including sea bottom characteristics, wind availability and environmental and fauna impact
  • Carrying out of public hearing process
  • Plan PPA including different partners and options
  • Establishment of IBH organisational structure
