From February 6th to 8th, the Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE) and IFEMA MADRID-FAIR CENTER (Feria de Madrid) hosted the GENERA 2024- International Energy and Environment Fair in Madrid, Spain.

The Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE) is a public entity which supports the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge to achieve the Spanish objectives of improvement of the energy efficiency, renewable energies and other low-carbon technologies.

GENERA is the most important fair related to renewable energies, energy storage and energy efficiency in Spain. This event is celebrated yearly, and has become a reference internationally. It brings together professionals of consultancy, engineering, construction, commerce; Industrial Energy Users; Equipment Manufacturers and Distributors; Installers and Maintenance Companies; Energy Project Developers; Universities and Research Centers; Prescribers and Real Estate Developers, Public Administrations and, in general, all professionals who work in the energy efficiency and renewable energy fields.

GENERA 2024 is celebrated in IFEMA (Feria de Madrid) venue, Avda. Del Partenón, 5, 28042, Madrid, and has had 402 exhibitors, from 63 countries, in 24,000 m2 of exhibition space. 208 companies from 23 countries have participated in the event. International companies made 41% of the total participation in Genera, specially from Germany, China, and Turkey. Besides, companies from Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the USA, Spain, France, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Sweden, and Switzerland participated in GENERA 2024. Approximately, around 35,000 visitors attended the fair.

Our partner Deloitte attended the GENERA Fair and disseminated the results of NESOI project, being one of the last events where NESOI was presented, before the end of the project.
