The CTM is a single French territorial authority, bringing together the Conseil Départemental and the Conseil Régional de la Martinique. Created by Act no. 2011-884 of 27 July 2011, its executive body is the Executive Council, made up of 9 executive councillors, including its President. In particular, it is responsible for economic development, education, vocational training, transport, health and social development and regional cooperation.
