Project News
The NESOI project exemplifies the integrated approach emphasized at the BRIDGE final event on 20 June 2023. By leveraging the collaborative efforts and achievements of industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers, BRIDGE aims to foster a holistic and integrated approach towards achieving a sustainable energy future. The initiative promoted by the European Union, places strong emphasis on digitalization, net-zero adaptation, and stakeholder collaboration, as key discussions held at the event.
From June 14th to June 16th, 2023, will take place the 11th annual edition of Sustainable Places (SP2023), with the in-person sessions organised in Madrid, Spain, by our partner R2M Solution and by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, who will also host the conference at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (ETSAM).
On June 7-8, 2023, NESOI will take part in the Clean Energy for EU Islands Forum 2023, which will take place in Saaremaa, Estonia.
Development of Consistent Key strategy of the Strait Port System (DOCKS) is a project supported by NESOI European Islands Facility, managed by our partners from RINA, and promoted by Autorità di Sistema Portuale dello Stretto (AdSP).
From the 30th to the 31st of May, SINLOC - Sistema Iniziative Locali, project coordinator of NESOI – The European Islands Facility, with our Beneficiaries from Sicily, is attending the sixth edition of the Green Salina Energy Days event, presenting the latest updates on our incredible initiatives.
Europe Day!
On the 6th of May, NESOI was invited during Europe Day to the CORDIS stand in Berlaymont as an expert in renewable energy. An important meeting not only for the future of Europe but also to commemorate the signing of the 'Schuman Declaration' on May 9, 1950. It is considered the foundation of what is today the European Union.
The Third NESOI Short Study Tour (SST2) will take place in the ashtonishing Scottish Orkney Islands between 8-12 may 2023. The European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) will host out participants providing very interesting knowledge about Marine Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen.
Transport Electrification On Sea and Land in Antiparos (TESLA) is a project supported by NESOI European Islands Facility, managed by our partners from CERTH, and promoted by Municipality of Antiparos, and Paros-Antiparos Ferry Cooperative.
